Art for Art’s Sake

At 17, my English Teacher, Mrs.Benitha David, went through my poems. When I expressed that not many appreciate poems, she said Poetry is for Poetry’s Sake. You do it for your pleasure. Keep doing it without worrying about who appreciates it. Thank You Mam.
