      Incidentally, I recollect how the number hundred plays a very significant part in our lives.

      When we were students, scoring a centum in Maths is to sit on top of sky.

      Later, as sports enthusiasts, we know what thrill it is to see an indian batsman score a century.

      My daughter, used to call her summer vacation “A hundred day holiday” though technically it is 60 days, out of a sheer fascination for the number 100.

      Getting a gift of Rs.101 on our birthdays was again a thrill.

      Living up to a hundred years is again everyone ‘s wish.

      So many hundreds in our lives.
